Could the search for Satoshi Nakamoto be over? Compelling new evidence has found Australian computer engineering expert, Dr. Craig Wright as one of the alleged creators of Bitcoin, alongside computer forensics expert, Dave Kleiman.
According to information gathered from two independent investigations conducted by tech blogs Gizmodo and Wired, Wright claimed on at least two occasions that he and Kleiman were both involved in the creation of Bitcoin. Email files obtained directly from Wright suggest that Kleiman (who died in 2013), may have also possessed a Bitcoin trust worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Following the news of Wright’s connection to Bitcoin, Australian Federal Police raided Wright’s property in Sydney. Officials said the timing of the raid was unrelated to the bitcoin revelations.
